Spaghettoni with Archetto in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients:
320 g Bragagnolo Spaghettoni con
Archetto pasta
1 clove of garlic
650 g canned tomatoes
Fresh basil to taste
Extra virgin olive oil to taste
Salt to taste
Instructions:
- Sauté the garlic clove in a drizzle of olive oil. Add the tomatoes, season with salt, and add some basil leaves. Cover and let simmer for 15–20 minutes on medium heat.
- Boil the Spaghettoni con Archetto in salted water.
- Optional: Remove the garlic from the tomato sauce and blend the sauce until creamy, adding a bit of olive oil for a smooth, orange consistency. Add some pasta cooking water to the sauce.
- Drain the pasta when slightly undercooked and mix it with the sauce in the pan. Cook together until the sauce is well absorbed. Add more pasta water if needed.
- Serve the pasta, garnish with basil leaves, and enjoy!
